So that's what happened to the King Dome!
Hee hee. Before Bill Nye made it big as Neo-Mr. Wizard, he was a regular on
a local comedy show, "Almost Live"; like a local SNL, but funny. One of his
characters was "Speed Walker". Picture Nye in light blue and yellow
superhero spandex speeeed waaaaalking to capture criminals. In one episode
the bad guys were trying to blow up the King Dome, and SW had to save the
day.
How tragic that instead he brought about his own demise in this senseless
and tragic manner.
