Digital cable from Time Warner in Austin. (And it's specifically the
DIGITAL cable, which you have to ask for.) They keep adding new channels
every month. The additions I've been happy about lately have been
Ovation, BBC America and TechTV. We also get a 24-hour news channel
that's Texas-centered (in addition to the Austin one we got in 1999).
My favorite feature of the digital cable, though, is the 30-some-odd (or
is it 40-some-odd?) channels of music. There's nothing like the
Atmospheres channel on low to act as a pleasant covering for other noises
while you take an afternoon nap....
