Actually, on the PBS coverage of the Broadcast they outright compared it to
Blair's famous  "Third Way" Agenda.

Bush, Clinton, and Blair are all very similar in that they have
aggressively sought to proclaim themselves as maker's of a synthesis
between left and right.   I think this is inevitable as both American and
British societies continue to reach a very broad consensus about exactly
how they should be governed.
