Ok, I see another problem coming up here. When was the last time an immoral act wasn't rationalized in some way?
For example (and I'm sorry I'm bringing up nazis *again*), I had a great aunt who lived in Germany before and during the war. Up to the day she died, just 3 years ago, she SWORE the nazis had a fantastic economic plan.
Still didn't make them good people...
