Some people don't have a choice about what sort of environment they're
using, especially at work. (Dan would be using a different mail reader if
he had a choice, but he knows what settings to put his stuff on to
minimize any danger to others, and he's good at screening suspicious
messages before he does anything to where anything could execute. So he
wasn't a vector this morning, unlike some other people at his company.)
Of course, there was a limit as to how much choice *I* had at work, but it
wasn't something where I could be infected with any of these
Windows-specific viruses. :) I like my mailreader for this account....
