Seriously, though, It would take a pretty monumental sea rise to flood even
the south of England. The Fens, the London Basin and parts of the Weald
would be under water or turned into salt marsh (returned to be accurate, the
whole English Channel was salt marsh during the last Ice Age.) Even a rise
of 20 metres wouldn't Flood my old house in Wimbledon though. Make trips to
the seaside a lot easier though.

And has been before. A lot of the Netherlands was flooded in WW2, IIRC.
