Did you guys hear that they're going to reshoot some new scenes for Star Wars Ep 2 in Sydney? Some extra character development for Obi Wan Kenobi. Some of the tone is lightened too, with a new emphasis of the wooing of Queen what's-er-name. The biggest change is that young Ben Kenobi has discovered a new talent as a Jedi Master... SEE Ben Kenobi SING!! Actually... saw Moulin Rouge last night, which is what this is all about. Absolutely blown away by the movie, which is completely over the top. A star turn for our Nicole and also for Ewan McGregor, who has a very fine singing voice. So much so that on our way home from the cinema my wife sent me off to a 24-hour Kmart to buy the soundtrack (also very good). So, if Darth Lucas thinks a bit, he really OUGHT to get Ben Kenobi to sing! So here's my second movie recommendation - Go see Moulin Rouge. Oh, and don't believe a word of it being a US movie.
