"Conveniently"? Do you think she feigned the nap?

This is something that I found more or less contradictory. First,
the "introduction" to this chapter, unlike the previous, is not
signed by Lysos. And they knew that Herlandia was
destroyed by the Enemy - what war is that? Would Lysos
create a pastoral colony *knowing* that there was
this war, and that the Enemy could hurt? It doesn't make
sense to me.

My notes:
p.134: Tizbe is a fake blonde, her natural hair is dark. So
she was playing the role of the joke blonde? :-)

p.137: the train's last stop for the day in Holly Lock -
so, again, the whole chapter lies within one day, the
same day of the previous chapter.

p.137: a Lerner, described as a burly woman, suntanned
to the color of rich copper

p.138: Tess Musseli, of the clan that owns the railroad

p.138: The Jopland hold has an uplink. What's that? AFAIK,
the satellites are passive light beacons for navigation.

p.138: The next train departs at 06:02 - so, they have some
methods to measure time accurately.
