I did rent something interesting this weekend actually, and a movie that I
*think* will appeal to listees: _Shadow of the Vampire_.

For those not familiar with it, it posits the idea that the star of the
silent movie _Nosferatu_ was, indeed, a real vampire, and that it's
obsessed, perfectionist director hired this creature to help him make the
greatest movie anyone had ever seen.  And it has John Malkovich and Willem
DaFoe, two very fine actors, in the leads.  It's a little bit of an odd
movie; my wife didn't care for it.  But I thought it was neat, and I think
some of you might dig it as well.
