I suffer from that particular shortcoming also, and not just on this 
list.   Perhaps I should post a sign by the keyboard:  "Make sure you are 
actually _awake_ before posting e-mail."  Of course, when it would make a 
difference I'd probably be so tired that I'd overlook it . . .
