I've received missives on another mailing list encouraging everyone in the
US to shut off everything that uses electricity from 7PM to 10PM tonight,
local time. "Roll your own blackout", it's called. Kill the lights and
light a few candles. Go outside and enjoy the fresh air. Get off the
@#$% computer. ;)
I just thought I'd let folks know that this movement is afoot, in case
anyone wanted to join in who wasn't aware of it.
(Of course, it's less than 2 hours to 7PM in the Eastern time zone, so
some folks may not get this until it's a little late.)
