You won't be my enemy for that -- you'll just have to put up with my
pointing out how your extreme generalization has flaws in it, if Dan M. or
Michael or Marvin or Adam don't beat me to it. (Michael did, in fact,
beat me to some of it earlier, and in a very civil manner, for which I'd
like to thank him.)

That's just not a happy place to be. If you can get out of the

1) On the second sentence, no thank you. (YES I will take things
literally at times, and remember that if you mention my name in a post!)
2) Michael already addressed the state income tax issue. It's just not
going to happen anytime soon. And how would that serve George H. W. Bush
right? Just because he'd have to pay more taxes? So would an awful lot
of other people, many of whom never voted for ANY of the Bushes.

Do you want to take constructive action to right some of the wrongs you
see here?
Do you just want to bitch about it?
Figure out which of these options is best for you, and start taking action
on it.
