A consensus seems to be emerging. After going through the mails, a few
things are crystal clear:
Very few [read three]support the idea of avoiding politics as a topic of
discussion, so we will be talking politics in the days to come [:o)].
The idea of a moderator is not seriously supported by anyone.
Most seem willing to try self-censorship as a way to minimize discord [not
disagreement, but discord]
If there is nothing blatantly wrong in this summation, should we just move
on to other topics now?
