But i don't like this guy's conclusions about modern
humanity just sitting around bored at all. Stable is
stagnent, stagnent is decline. Decline is death.
I used to think about just this sort of thing. It
would probably end up as limited personality analogs
though, I don't see how the human spirit could
translate over to digital. Not anytime soon anyway.
=( And if/when we run into other starfaring races,
what will they think of us if we're too much a bunch
of sissies to leave the cradle in person?
