The "future" robots were very interested in humans, remember? That's why
they were intent on David. This implies that most records or memories
of humanity were lost. I don't believe that would happen, and I gave
one example of how such memories could survive. My example wasn't meant
to be such a big deal, and I could give other examples, but I think I'm
going to drop it now.
