I think it will be just the opposite. Emotions are physical things. They 
represent our internal response to changes in our own bodies. They integral 
to consciousness. A disembodied intelligence may be incapable of emotion or 
at least it would have feelings that related to its internal sense of its own 
mechanisms (body).
