Based on that definition, and in what I have seen
Economists do here in Brazil, I think it doesn't :-)
But I think Economy *is* a science, by a broader
definition that might be something like: "Science
is anything that uses mathematical tools to make
predictions and compares reality with the
predictions, refining the mathematical model for
the next set of predictions". Of course, based on
this definition, so is Astrology <evil grin>
