The breast milk is going to get alcohol in it in about the same proportion
that the blood does. So if you're at 0.10% BAC, the breastmilk is going
to be at that level. My mom said that in order for there to be much
effect on the baby, the mother would have to be practically in a coma from
alcohol consumption and someone else would have to bring the baby to the
mother for feeding.
I'm still staying away from the alcohol, though. I made it through one
football season without any beer, I can handle another one. ;) (I used
to sit down with a beer and chocolate-chip cookies during Monday Night
Football, but then again, I had a paying job that seemed to dump more of
its interesting stresses on me on Monday than any other day *anyway*.)
