OK, how about using the names of well-known (and not so well-known) female 
characters from SF?

Jen Wolling (Earth)
Athaclena (The Uplift War)
Lauren Olamina (Parable of the Sower)
Sister Mary Loquacious (Good Omens)
Edith Stone (The Rolling Stones)
Lady Sally Callahan (Callahan's Crosstime Saloon and Lady Slings the Booze)

and...well you get the idea. Or how about Ada or Grace (why? A No-Prize for 
the first to figure it out.).
