That would mean while Jean lay in the cocoon at the bottom of New York
Harbor (guarded no doubt by the Beast from 20,000 Fathoms) she was able to
link across time and space to Boone, in orbit, some 20-25 years later.
Jeez, she's gotta be the most powerful telepath out there.
