I finished the Pratchett last night, and settled on a Sharyn McCrumb for
the current downstairs book.
The Clarke is really good so far. I think it would be of interest to
anyone who enjoyed some of the engineering in Kim Stanley Robinson's
Mars trilogy. Plus, it's Clarke! :)
