The problem I have with this is that it treats the symptom, not the disease.
If, every time a subject gets controversial and generates lots of email, we
have to drop it becasue people start flaming, then pretty soon the list will
not include debate. My suggestion is to try to refrain from personal
attacks. In particular, I don't think even hinting at real life
consequences for what is written here is a good idea. Especially, if it is
the use of poetic liscense in recalling the posts of another.
I don't think I became angry in this exchange. If anyone things I've
personally insulted someone, instead of just disagreeing with what they
wrote, I'd appreciate it being pointed out to me.
