But disagreed that:
People should not journey by car if they can walk, cycle or take a train
instead
It was the absolutism of people not journeying by car that I couldn't agree
with. There are times when walking etc is not practical - frex, I could walk
to Sydney, or take the train, but I have friends along the way that I'd not
be able to see if I didn't use the car. Other frexes: it's raining, I've
gotta take the kids, I'm going to carry a lot of shopping, I'm lazy...
