We understand that we are all shocked and sad and upset
about what happened on Tuesday.
Each one reacts differently to the tragedy, and we need
to be sensitive to each other.
During this difficult time, we should all be careful
not to make the list's tone non-productive.
Don't flame. Don't accuse anyone of flaming. Don't
respond to accusations that you have flamed.
We conclude with a quote from Dr Brin's post on
June/1999. "Fear has been a major motivator of intolerance
in human history. Calmness makes you a better warrior and
helps prevent mistakes."
