Brin-l is hosted in Cornell University, Ithaca, NY. Enough said. Phone lines here were jammed packed on Tuesday; a lot of international students and staff had massive problems calling outside of the US. Never mind all the phone calls from worried parents who couldn't call in either. Email was the only reliable and quick way of letting others know that all their loved ones were fine. Mail servers here were working overtime. And here we are, wasting bandwidth flaming each other on a list. Gee. How considerate.
