So, you would either have to make that no-fly zone an extremely big one
(so
big that it gives you enough time to intercept a plane that enters the
zone), or make it not so big and have figher jets flying around in it
during
a football game -- which would make a football game extremely expensive.

I'm going to be in a stadium with 105k on Saturday in State College, PA.
The local large airport is less then 3 miles away and I can't imagine
them changing anything during the game. The direction of the landing
strip pretty much guarentees that the planes, either coming or going,
have to fly near the stadium. Planes fly by overhead all the time,
commercial planes and planes toting advertising banners.

Will I be worried? No. Will others? Probably some. I felt more worried
after reading the Tom Clancy novel.
