What kind of monetary damages *could* she have suffered from not being able to play the CD on her computer? Even if she would not at all be able to play the CD, would she be able to sue the record company? It is not like CD's are very expensive (how much these days in the US? USD 8.95? USD 14.95?). If she *would* sue for that, I can imagine the court would fine her for filing a frivilous lawsuit. (In The Netherlands, you cannot even go to court over such minimal amounts of money.)
