Coverage here suggested that the tote was astronomical - something in the order
of half a Billion dollars from all over the world - even if it was being
reported in our Pacific Pesos, that's still a quarter Billion US - big money
from a telethon that seemed to pop up out of nowhere with almost no promotion.
