<< Of course I do not rant about them. I am not familiar with the "Protocols
of the Elders of Zion", so I cannot comment on them...

So, what *are* the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion"? >>

Why not look it up on the Web, as I did? Takes a few seconds to type it into
a search engine. But too many people on this list would rather flap their
gums than do minimal research.

Try http://www.adl.org/special_reports/protocols/protocols_intro.html.

The "Protocols" is a notorious anti-semitic hoax, a book in which the
purported leaders of a worldwide Jewish conspiracy to take over & rule the
world detail their plot. Actually, it was concocted around 1911 by Serge
Nilus, an underling of the Okhrana, the secret police of the Tsar of the
Russian Empire. Nilus based it on a satirical French novel of the 19th
century, in which the plotters weren't even Jewish.

(As if anyone smart enough to succeed with such a plot would be stupid enough
to write it all down in advance...But anti-semites are themselves usually
such stupid morons that this kind of inconsistency never occurs to them...)

This hoax has fooled many people who should have known better. Henry Ford
believed it detailed a dangerous plot and paid to distribute thousands of
copies before realizing how badly he'd been taken, after which he regretted
having been fooled.

Of course, the anti-semites on this list (and you know who you are) will
probably be all excited that they've discovered a whole new reason to hate
Jews...
