My guess is that when you delurked last August, your e-mail address was not in my files yet so I went searching on the Internet and somehow came up with the name "Jon Williams". Oddly, that name did not resurface when I did a search on your e-mail address 30 minutes ago.>> LOL. Perhaps he was the former owner of this screen name/e-mail box. AOL will recycle screen names after about 6-12 months. I believe the reason they wait is to give you the opportunity to reclaim your name if you deleted it and change your mind. There's an evil plot in there somewhere if we look hard enough. :) I usually make up a screen name for a particular purpose as it suits me.... this one is the address for this list, and a couple of service websites and shopping portals. I'm entitled to seven, after all... and they're not hard to keep track of. I had signed-offlist a while back. (Something about WAY too much e-mail to read on a daily basis.... even the digests were impossible to keep up with. When the digest becomes 100K+, it's too large!) I signed back on in June or July, I believe. <<And yes, it did indeed have influence on your ranking. Since posts contributed to "Jon Williams" apparently should have been contributed to "Jon Gabriel", you are not #114 (with 54 posts) but #64 (with 251 posts).>> Oh boy! *grin* Somehow I doubt I'm headed towards Alpha Mail status anytime soon. Certain people onlist (present company included) are much more prolific than I am. :) However, it's nice to be counted. Thank you! :) <<Oh well, I allow myself one mistake per year. Guess this was the one. <grin> >> OK, but just this once ;) Thanks again, Jon
