Orcs = goblins. After all, JRRT called them goblins in "The Hobbit" when Sting and Glamdring were introduced. I've seen this criticism in several places and I can't specifically remember it ever saying that Glamdring or Orcrist (Thorin's sword) glowing in the presence of goblins and/or orcs in either "The Hobbit" or "The Lord of the Rings". - John H
