Whose most recent M$ Flight Simulator version is the ancient version 5. >>

M$FS hasn't changed that much over the years. They added more airports and
satellite images of the Earth's surface, in case you wanted to take off from
New Guinea and see the surrounding terrain. You can also connect to the net
and download current weather conditions in which to fly. (I tried flying a
Concorde in hurricane conditions once. It was a short flight that had a
rather negative effect on my imaginary passengers.)

The version I have is, I believe, the last one where the Twin Towers are a
part of the NY skyline. They were my favorite part of the program: before
9/11, I used to take a Cessna and try to fly between them. Wasn't always
successful, but it was a very cool trick at the time whereas now it's kind of
creepy. (It wouldn't work with a 747 or a Concorde.... I'd tried, but a
Sopwith Camel breezed right through.) You could also land on the top of one
using a Bell Helicopter. (The latter also being the craft of choice to
inspect the Statue of Liberty for cracks ;) )

I still use the program... but don't really fly over New York City anymore.
