Welll..... I can name at least four common American male first names that 
start with "J" and have three letters: Joe, Jim, Jon, Jay.  All are also 
shortened versions of longer names: Joseph, James, Jonathan or Jonah and 
Jason.  Here are two for females: Jen, and Jan, which are short for Jennifer, 
Jane, Janet or Janice.  That might make things harder.  

Some thoughts: 
Is "Jeb" short for anything?  (I was thinking "Jebeneezer", but that can't be 
right.)
Maybe Kneem's real name is "Jophur." :)))
