I want to state up front that this is mostly from memory. I don't have web
access right now so I may get the dates wrong. When did Cheney start working
for Halliburton?

Long ago I liked Michael Moore but his message is completely lost in his
noise anymore.

I worked at Halliburton during the gulf war. I remember the company lost a
lot of money and stock value, at first, during and after the war. They hired
10,000 people in 1991 and had to lay them back off within six months because
the expected work needed in Kuwait and even Saudi Arabia just didn't happen.
At the time they were the largest oil field services company in the world.
(I'm saying 'at the time' because I don't know their current position, but I
assume they are still #1). Who else are you going to hire to 'rebuild'
Kuwait, some 5 man operation in Ames Iowa?

My point is: why does Moore drag Halliburton into the discussion other than
to re-bloom the seed in people's mind about Cheney and his million dollar
retirement?

This post has no real content...just venting.
