Guess I have to plead guilty to excessive lurking... For my own part, I tend to be more of a listener and sounding board in real life so that tends to lead to a really quiet listmember. Through all of its ups and downs though, I still seldom go a day without reading most of the posts that come in (The ones I skip seem to have been well addressed lately by others). It's always been a great source for other authors to try, science and other news, and a bit of the lives of people I feel I know or have even met! (been here for years myself). As for feeling daunted by the depth and breadth of knowledge around here... how could one not? :-) I've got a Ph D in Phys Chem and some folks here just leave me feeling floored sometimes... and I love it! This is a great resource we've got here, as I suspect most of us know. But it shouldn't put off lurkers who want to drop by... no one knows everything and new ideas should always be welcome (just don't expect everyone to agree with you... it'll never happen :-) ) As for more reasons for my lurking, maybe I'll respond to the "Who are we" thread for more on that... I'll try to do better. Right, let's hear from some more lurkers. Even if just the odd insight or joke now and then :-) TCOY, Sean
