No Cato is a high powered think tank as far as I know. I believe it somewhere in the Hudson Valley about 50 miles north of New York but I could be wrong about this.

Gautam's rant about Krugman's rants are I think a bit out of context. He has been writing about Bush and his Tax cut starting during the campaign. He has written crtically and convincingly about the falacies in the plan, the funny accounting and the fuzzy math. He has been particularly and articulately critical of Bush's plans for social security. He is angry for sure but looney, I don' t think so. His point about Enron is I believe that it exposes one of the major problems we face. With so many people invested in the market, we must have strong accountability because if all of those investors lose faith in the market and pull out it will surely collapse.
