The total cost of our involvement in the Gulf War was said to be NLG 462 million. That includes deployment (not the purchase) of those installations, troops to operate the radar installations, crews for the naval vessels(*), and the logistics that come with it (and perhaps a few things that I overlooked). (*) I am not sure if those five were all minesweepers, or minesweepers and frigats.
