Exactly the opposite of my experience with XP. When I first loaded it I lost utility for about half my programs and my CD burner. (I eventually had to give up on BlackIce Defender and replaced it with ZoneAlarm). But I stuck it out and in a couple of weeks it seemed to adjust itself and now every thing is working well except for my Cakewalk software and I just havent bothered to update it just yet. I'm sure i could add a little cruft to get the music going, but it isnt a very high priority for me. XP downloads patches for my hardware and software every couple of weeks or so, and as time goes on works better and better. I think XP crashed once during the first month or so, but has run fairly flawlessly since. Of course I'm not putting much of a strain on the system either. :) xponent XPonent Maru rob you knew that was coming.
