What is Linda Stone's job these days? I knew her when she was at Apple
(where she shocked everybody by going to MS). She's a bit of a character.
I once asked her how long it took her to drive from her house in San
Francisco to Apple in Cupertino. Most people would say "half an hour." But
her answer was something like "Thirty-four and a half minutes, unless I
catch one of the traffic lights wrong, then it can take thirty-five
minutes." From that day forward, I made sure to give her very precise
answers...
