Now, I'm just a simple unfrozen caveman, so I don't understand how the time
setting affects when mail is received.  I mean, the mail is phsyically
(well, it is if you speak of the specific electrons) arriving after the
responses.

Please, explain using small words like Jeroen and Nick did.
