I have added another graph (at the bottom of the page), a histogram that shows the total number of posts per month in the same period. It clearly shows that postings peaked in July 1999 (2,456 posts), after which traffic went steadily downhill till it reached a low of 263 posts in April 2001. The single peak during the long way down is from May 2000 when postings suddenly went up to 1,849 (jeez, I wonder why). In May 2001, postings suddenly went up to 1,394 (5.3 times as many as the month before). After another dip in November 2001 (399 posts), postings went up again to reach 1,764 in January 2002. February 2002 already has even more postings, and is expected to end up with approx. 1,825 posts.
