I'm glad that someone mentioned this. I was actually planning on e-mailing
a few of the participants in a week or so to see if people were actually
were interested in this.

Unfortuantely events conspired to make my life pretty busy over the past
year, like going back to school part-time - the analysis of a Chapter *is*
a pretty time-consuming task. I basically need to be able to take a
two-three hour block of time that I know will be uninterrupted to do a
serious-length chapter, which sometimes can be daunting to be doing on a
regular basis - and even then, basically restricted to weekends.

Anyhow, once I got behind by a couple of weeks, I wondered if anyone was
seriously interested in it, should just let recede into the dustbin of
history. After all, I'm sure that it must be very frustrating for the
other readers to be dealing with this book on such a sporadic and
intermittent basis.

I'm really glad that despite all of this people are still interested. So,
I am happy to commit to pushing through with this project until the end.
Unfortunately, output will still be a bit sporadic at times - but I will
keep pushing ahead.

For the sake of consistency, I'll probably start Part II in a week or two.
(Sorry Julia!) One of those events that is making my life sporadic is my
newfound hobby of trying to collect National Parks Stamps by visiting every
National Park in the United States. (A great hobby by the way - very
addicting, and hugely rewarding.) Thishas produced unique turns of
events like spending six days around President's Day in the San Francisco
Bay Area, spending three days a week ago in Chicago-Wisconsin-Iowa, and now
likely going to Atlanta next weekend. :)
