Just saw a moment ago that ABC News has video of two young Palestinian
boys, they look to be about 10 years old, walking up to an Israeli tank and
throwing a grenade under it.
Kind of puts the death of Palestinian children in persepctive. The
Israelis kill children wielding rocks and grenades (fast - you tell the
difference!) and the Palestinians kill Israelis at bat mitzvahs.
Every day I am just stunned to consider how so many people draw a moral
equivalence between the Israelis and Palestinians in this conflict. Its
literally almost as if terrorism isn't so bad as long as you are killing
Israelis.
I know a lot of thigns have been tried in the Middle East, but wouldn't the
moral force of the entire Western World proclaiming that there can be *no*
peace in the Middle East until the Palestinians renounce terrosim????

PS And just to be fair, ABC also showed footage of Israelis rounding up
Palestinians under blindfold (and apparently putting numbers on some of
them), showed an anguished Palestinian mother, and shoed Israelis
indiscriminantly firing on a hotel containing journalists. The latter
especially is a pretty nasty thing for the Israelis to do, but it sure as
heck *ain't* terrorism......
Also shown was a prisoner at Guantanamo Bay shouting out a protest to a
Canadian reporter about being maltreated and having no legal rights and
wanting "the world to know about us." (Just so that we are clear about
any "bias" in this telecast.
