Congratulations!  You have just learned what some of us have known for years.

May I also suggest your local charity's thrift store?  Sometimes you can 
find books there even cheaper than a dollar, and some of them may be almost 
new.



While we're on the subject, do you know how you can tell that the clerk in 
a dollar store is really new?

When you hear him/her get on the intercom and call out "Price check on 
register 1" . . .
