Lipscomb [EMAIL PROTECTED] Actually, under the law as written, while he probably couldn't be _arrested_ for that, the station that put him on could almost certainly be fined, as could he, quite possibly. I doubt that there's any possibility those provisions for the law will be held as Constitutional - they're as egregiously in violation of the First Amendment as anything passed this century - but the possibility does exist, which by itself demonstrates why the law is so hideous. The steel tariff decision on the President's part was bad. Signing this bill was far worse - it is a direct contravention of his sworn oath as the President of the United States to "Preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States."
