I didn't know that's what it was. I picked it up from my husband, who
might use it partly because it doesn't sound like any of the words his
mother would object to. :) I was using it more as a substitute for the
"s" word (at least in the exclamitory way; if I'm talking about actual
excrement, I use the "s" word without apology, mostly in the case of
talking about what is excreted by a dog or human, and not so much by any
other animal); I guess that was the wrong usage. Sigh.
