The man is a war hawk with a very strong hatred of Arabs. He did nothing to stop the massacre in Shaaba (sp) and Shatila (sp). He provoked the Palestinians into starting the second Intifadah. His aggression against Palestinians is becoming more and more ruthless. Nothing he has done indicates that he wants to make peace with the Arabs. Even Israel's only friend and ally (the US) is criticising him. All in all, I think there is plenty of reason to believe that Sharon would commit genocide if he could get away with it. The only reason he has not done so is that the rest of the world will not let him get away with it.
