Back in my Intel days, we were REQUIRED to test server performance on
high-end servers. We had to install various Game server software products,
then plug them into the Internet. The network card testers, and the pc
system board testers were REQUIRED to do game testing as well... At one
point, 75% of all traffic to the Internet from Intel orginated from our
'little game server'. we also had to test WAN traffic using RSVP, by...
well.. playing games across the network.

I also will take credit for being the first person to (WARNING:
non-technical people... cover your ears) broadcast my Quake II game over the
M-BONE using a video capture card and RTSP H.263 multicast (with RSVP) -
suddenly thousands of people could see my perspective as I was getting
fragged (all in the name of research!).

<sigh>
