Actually, Vermont law allows homosexual marriages.  I'm not sure, but I 
think Hawaii does too.  So even if Federal law doesn't allow it, some State 
laws do.

I think you're right, John would probably *not* agree to it... but you never 
know.  Maybe he's been hankering for Dutch food ala Sonja. :-)
