I've heard some people claim that anything you need on a regular basis in
order to function "normally" is something you are "addicted" to. That
would include coffee for those who say they can't get going until they have
had their morning cup of coffee.

My response to that suggestion is along the lines of "Is a diabetic
addicted to insulin?" "Is someone who suffers from heart disease and has
had a heart attack and bypass surgery addicted to all the various
medications such a person must take regularly?", etc.

Wasn't there a big deal made about "Internet addiction" a couple of years ago?

God bless America,
Land that I love!
Stand beside her, and guide her
Thru the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans, white with foam
God bless America!
My home, sweet home.
